Quick update from the CVRWG today in the midst of Storm Bert.
With progress well underway on various parts of the tank, Adam & I decided it was time to tackle another major job. The metal on top of one end of the chassis. (Of course all of it suffers from the usual rust and lamination). We spent a little while working on one section of it, lots of hammering and plenty of time spent with the plasma cutter. I’ve put a small bit aside to frame as a memento!
As well as the tank wagon, I got to work covering the Ruston with lights. This is in preparation for our twilight events throughout December. Still plenty of Christmas lights to put on however the weather prevented me from making any more progress. Sadly I was unable to get a photo of the progress during darkness but no doubt there will be more opportunities to do so in December.
See you in the next one!
Ollie
