The tank had 5 holes. It will never contain liquids again, but we have to repair these holes.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have worked to repair these holes. So far, three of five have been repaired. Here is an update on the latest one.
In the following image, you can see the corrosion. This part of the tank is where the tank strap sits, so it became a trap for moisture.

I marked the area to cut and then prepared it for cutting, after cutting I ground back the area and prepared the plate to in fill – you can see the hole below

I didn’t capture the plate that I cut to fill in, but you can see it welded in place in the image below after I have ground the area back

So that’s hole 3 of 5 repaired! and here are some pictures of the 2 other holes are repaired (slowly rusting) and a picture of the latest repair from the ground. Again, starting to rust. Ollie will prime this side in the next few work days so only surface rust will build.
